Why Does My Meucci Order
Take Time to Complete?

We take pride in handcrafting every Meucci cue, extension, and joint protector with precision and care, which means the process takes time—sometimes longer than expected. It’s also important to understand that Meucci cues are not mass-produced; we make them one at a time once we receive an order. Here are some common reasons an order may take extra time:

Shaft Turning & Curing

We carefully turn down the shaft wood in stages, allowing it to season properly to prevent warping and ensure long-term stability.

Quality Requirements

If any part of the process doesn’t meet our inspection requirements, we may need to repeat steps to ensure the final product meets our high standards. A cue that isn’t up to par won’t leave our shop.

Backlog

At times, we experience a high volume of orders, which can result in varying delays along the way—especially in the finishing and final inspection stages

Customizations

Unique customizations take additional time to craft and perfect. Precision inlays, special stains, and non-standard features require extra attention to detail.

Wood Warpage

Wood is an organic material that naturally expands, contracts, and occasionally warps. If a piece moves unexpectedly during production, we may need to let it settle, adjust, or in some cases, start over to ensure straightness and stability.

Human Error

Every Meucci cue is handcrafted, and while our craftsmen are among the best in the industry, mistakes sometimes happen. If an issue arises, we take the time to correct it properly—even if that means redoing part of the process or starting over.
